Turan – Burhan Çakmak brothers started their business life in 1976 by selling building materials in Ordu province, and established the company TURAN SERAMİK A.Ş. in 1987 to produce vitrified sanitary ware. After 3-year R&D and investment activities, the company went into actual production in 1990. Realizing production in its modern facilities with its specialized staff under TURAVİT brand, it has carved out a place and position for itself in the domestic and foreign markets.

Today, Turavit exports to more than 40 countries in 15000 m² covered area with 360 employees.
