TURKISHCERAMICS MADE AN APPEARANCE AT CERSAIE 2015

The 33rd annual Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, is now over. The most important event of the industry took place between 28 September and 2 October in Bologna and caught the attention of more than 100,000 visitors.

Cersaie 2015, as well as serving up as a visual feast of pattern, color and geometry, was complemented by a group of events targeting the world of architecture, interior design and consumers.

Twenty Turkish Ceramics companies attended this pre-eminent international tile and bathroom show with their latest products and technologies:

To summarise what was showcased in the 2015 edition of Cersaie, the most common trend for tiles was “old is back”, enhanced with a touch of technology. Clean and contemporary lines with richly textured, soft and warm surfaces were also featured in the show.

Turkishceramics’ press event at the 900 year old Torre Prediparte Tower on 30.09.2015 was attended by: foreign press, industry related magazine editors, Italian and French ceramics associations and leading people of the industry. 

In the magical atmosphere of the tower, the Chairman of Turkishceramics, Bahadir Kayan, gave a presentation on Turkish ceramics’ position in the global ceramics industry, and how the ceramics tradition was transformed into a modern and high-tech industry.  The export figures, competitive advantages of Turkish products, activities and events held by the Turkishceramics were also shared with the participants. 

Guests enjoyed the rest of the evening at a cocktail party in the tower’s roof bar and had the opportunity to receive detailed information about Turkishceramics’ commitment to the ceramics sector.
